Boo hoo! Our last port for this trip. It was another beautiful sunny, although not overly warm, day and the sea was very calm for my last water shuttle ride. I can happily report that I completed both entries and exits of the water shuttle with no issues and injuries!
Today was another bus tour with a historical emphasis. We got collected at the pier at Waitangi and driven to Kerikeri. After a yummy Devonshire tea we toured the Mission House and Stone Store.
Back on the bus for our continuing history lesson, we did a quick detour to Haruru Falls before going to the Waitangi Treaty grounds.
We had a guided tour of the treaty grounds with a Maori guide. Back on the bus, our driver/guide took us on a bonus sightseeing drive to the top of the hill for the spectacular views before returning us to the pier and our last sail away party.
