Cornerbrook, Labrador & Newfoundland, Canada

We received a very warm, friendly welcome from the citizens of Corner Brook and the weather turned on a beautiful sunny day for us.

Our first goal was to head up to the James Cook memorial.

We followed the signs to meet Maggie the Newfoundland, but she had just left to go to the ship to meet the Captain.

After completing the climb we made our way back down to walk the Stream Trail.

We finished our day in Corner Brook exploring the town centre.

We were so lucky to be visiting on such a lovely sunny day. These signs every where and the damaged curbs (which we finally worked out were caused by snow plows) are testament to the fact that it is usually very cold here!
